AZBIL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Control System Engineer to develop and configure automation system applications and GUIs, plan configurations, and coordinate FAT and commissioning activities across projects.

The role requires a Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering and knowledge of SCADA, Python, or PLC programming, with strong analytical and communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure control system applications and GUI to meet project requirements.
• Plan system configurations with control schematics, wiring diagrams, and field termination drawings.
• Set up and maintain databases and prepare control narratives, functional descriptions and testing documents.
• Conduct FAT to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration and integration issues.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful commissioning.
• Provide technical support during site testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with standards and client requirements.

Job Summary

Our Control System Engineer is expected to develop, configure, and implement automation system applications and GUIs. Plan system configurations, conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful commissioning and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure system applications and graphical user interfaces (GUI) to meet project requirements
• Plan and design system configurations by preparing control schematics, wiring diagrams, and field termination drawings
• Set up and maintain system databases and prepare control narratives, functional descriptions, and testing and commissioning (T&C) documentation
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance with project specifications
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system configuration and integration issues during project execution
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, vendors, and customers to ensure successful system implementation and commissioning
• Provide technical support during site testing, commissioning, and project handover activities
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with company standards, client requirements, and relevant industry regulations

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Programming knowledge in SCADA, Python, or PLC programming
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated by proactively learning new technologies
