Job summary

The Inception Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and oversee end-to-end commercial, tendering and contract administration on projects in Singapore.

You will mentor junior staff, optimize workflows, and interpret contract clauses to advise on cost, risk and extensions. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead & mentor a team of QS to ensure high-quality output.
• Review existing commercial workflows and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
• Oversee main contract and sub-contract administration from project start to final account closure.
• Interpret contract clauses to advise stakeholders on cost, contractual issues and risk mitigation.
• Manage sub-contract payments, Variation Orders (VOs), Extension of Time (EOT) claims, etc.
• Oversee the entire tendering process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
