Job summary

KTC Civil Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a full-time Contracts Manager to oversee contractual obligations on a prestigious MRT infrastructure project. You will lead the Quantity Surveyor team, manage cost, negotiate contracts, and resolve disputes to keep the project on track.

The role requires a minimum 10 years' experience, a degree in QS or Construction Management, and strong knowledge of construction law.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QS team, including project profit & loss, and client engagement.
• Establish team objectives and develop QS to achieve them.
• Develop and monitor QS, contract and cost-management systems.
• Review and monitor project costing across inter-project and inter-company costs.
• Resolve issues with QS/project team, including clients and subcontractors on cost and contracts.
• Own project cost and contract-related settlements.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join KTC Civil Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd as a full-time Contracts Manager , supporting a prestigious MRT infrastructure project in Singapore . In this role, you will oversee and manage all contractual obligations, negotiations, and dispute resolutions, playing a strategic part in delivering a high-profile and complex project.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team, including project profit & loss, and client engagement
• To establish team objective and motivate / develop QS to achieve the team objective
• To establish, develop, implement & monitor system for QS, contract & cost management
• To review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost/ charging concern
• To resolve problems encountered by QS / project team, including dealing with client/ sub-contractors on cost and contractual matters
• Take ownership on project cost / contractual related settlement

What we're looking for

• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating, drafting and administering a diverse range of construction contracts
• Excellent knowledge of construction law, contract management principles and risk mitigation strategies
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams
