Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Singapore is seeking a Staff Specialist, Operations Planning & Controlling to manage OSAT capacity, demand-supply planning, and digital transformation initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to forecast, allocate capacity, automate reporting, and drive continuous improvement across planning processes and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, operations management, business administration or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain coordination in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is highly preferred, especially in Assembly & Test or OSAT environments.

Responsibilities

• Secure OSAT capacity and commitments to support demand fulfillment and production.
• Develop mid- to long-term forecasting plans including demand forecasting and capacity planning.
• Drive demand-supply balancing with internal and external partners for optimal resource utilization.
• Monitor capacity utilization and mitigate supply risks with proactive solutions.
• Lead automation and digitalization projects to improve planning efficiency and data visibility.
• Develop and maintain digital tools, automated dashboards, and data-driven planning solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and OSATs to drive continuous improvements.
• Support analytics-driven process improvements and best practices in manufacturing and supply chain planning.

We are looking for a Staff Specialist, Operations Planning & Controlling to play a key role in managing subcontractor (OSAT) capacity, demand-supply planning, and digital transformation initiatives that support business growth and customer fulfillment.In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop forecasting strategies, optimize capacity allocation, and drive automation and digitalization projects that enhance planning efficiency and operational performance.Your roleKey responsibilities in your new roleSecure subcontractor (OSAT) capacity and commitments to support customer demand fulfillment, ensure business continuity, and meet production requirements.Develop and execute mid- to long-term forecasting plans, including demand forecasting, business scenario analysis, capacity planning, and subcontractor allocation optimization to support business growth and operational efficiency.Drive demand-supply balancing activities by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely product delivery.Monitor and analyze capacity utilization, identify potential constraints, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate supply risks.Lead and support automation and digitalization projects to improve planning efficiency, data visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational productivity.Develop and maintain digital tools, automated dashboards, and data-driven solutions to enhance planning processes and decision-making capabilities.Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Subcontractors, to drive continuous process improvements and achieve business objectives.Support continuous improvement initiatives through the application of analytics, automation, and best practices in manufacturing and supply chain planning.Your profileQualifications and skills to help you succeedThis is a 1 year contract (renewable / convertible - based on business requirements) under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to partner companyBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing environment.Experience in the semiconductor industry is highly preferred, particularly within Assembly & Test (A&T) operations or Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) environments.Proven track record in subcontractor management, capacity planning, demand and supply balancing, production scheduling, and end-to-end supply chain operations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive operational efficiency and delivery performance.Proficiency in programming, automation, and digitalization initiatives, with the ability to develop and leverage digital tools, dashboards, and data-driven solutions to improve planning and operational processes.Experience with data analytics, process automation, and digital transformation projects will be an added advantage.#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
