Infineon Technologies Singapore is seeking a Staff Specialist, Operations Planning & Controlling to lead subcontractor capacity, demand-supply planning, and digital transformation in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, allocate capacity, and drive automation that improves planning accuracy, data visibility, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain coordination in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is highly preferred, particularly within Assembly & Test (A&T) or OSAT environments.
  • Proven track record in subcontractor management, capacity planning, demand and supply balancing, production scheduling, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with ability to drive operational efficiency and delivery performance.
  • Proficiency in programming, automation, and digitalization initiatives, with ability to develop and leverage digital tools, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Secure OSAT capacity and commitments to support customer demand fulfillment, ensure business continuity, and meet production requirements.
  • Develop and execute mid- to long-term forecasting plans, including demand forecasting, business scenario analysis, capacity planning, and subcontractor allocation optimization.
  • Drive demand-supply balancing activities with internal stakeholders and external partners for optimal resource use and timely delivery.
  • Monitor capacity utilization, identify constraints, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate supply risks.
  • Lead automation and digitalization projects to improve planning efficiency, data visibility, reporting accuracy, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain digital tools, automated dashboards, and data-driven solutions to enhance planning processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Subcontractors to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement through analytics, automation, and best practices in manufacturing and supply chain planning.

Job description

Are you passionate about capacity planning, supply chain optimization, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment? We are looking for a Staff Specialist, Operations Planning & Controlling to play a key role in managing subcontractor (OSAT) capacity, demand-supply planning, and digital transformation initiatives that support business growth and customer fulfillment.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop forecasting strategies, optimize capacity allocation, and drive automation and digitalization projects that enhance planning efficiency and operational performance.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Subcontractors, to drive continuous process improvements and achieve business objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through the application of analytics, automation, and best practices in manufacturing and supply chain planning.
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
  • This is a 1 year contract (renewable / convertible - based on business requirements) under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to partner company
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is highly preferred, particularly within Assembly & Test (A&T) operations or Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) environments.
  • Proven track record in subcontractor management, capacity planning, demand and supply balancing, production scheduling, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive operational efficiency and delivery performance.
  • Proficiency in programming, automation, and digitalization initiatives, with the ability to develop and leverage digital tools, dashboards, and data-driven solutions to improve planning and operational processes.
  • Experience with data analytics, process automation, and digital transformation projects will be an added advantage.
