Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a QC Technician to inspect incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet design specifications before release to production. You will document inspection results, perform SAP transactions after buyoff or inspection, and document FAI samples from suppliers.

The role also includes initiating Quality Notifications for non-conformances and related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school or equivalent.
• Experience inspecting PCBA, electrical and mechanical parts to drawings/specifications.
• Proficient with measurement tools (Vernier caliper, micrometer) and inspection aids.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure conformity to defined specifications, QC checklist and/or drawings.
• Document inspection results and perform SAP transactions after buyoff or inspection.
• Inspect and document results of FAI samples submitted from supplier.
• Initiate Quality Notification via SAP for non-conforming products detected during inspection.
• Carry out any other administrative job function (e.g., collating DHR).

Overview:

The QC Technician is responsible to inspects incoming raw materials, electronic, mechanical components as well as manufactured/ OEM products to ensure they meet design specifications before being released to production. Completes appropriate paperwork necessary for conforming and non-conforming materials.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Perform inspection or testing of product to ensure conformity to defined specifications, QC checklist and/or drawings.
• Document inspection result and perform system transaction in the SAP after buyoff or inspection.
• Perform inspection and document results of FAI samples submitted from supplier.
• Initiate Quality Notification via SAP for Non-Conforming products detected during inspection
• Carry out any other administrative job function. (eg collating of DHR)

Requirement:

• Minimum Secondary school or equivalent.

• Experience in performing inspection of parts, such as PCBA, electrical and mechanical parts with reference to engineering drawing/specification.
• Working knowledge in using vernier caliper, micrometer ,smartscope, pipette. Luxo lamp, eye lupe and microscope, if required, to perform inspection or testing
