Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Sustainability and Reporting team and support sustainable tourism initiatives.

You will lead project work to support GSTC Certification, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, organise the Sustainable Tourism Conversations, and contribute to STB’s annual sustainability report. The role emphasizes collaboration, reporting accuracy, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support GSTC Certification efforts for Singapore.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for sustainability initiatives.
• Plan and execute Sustainable Tourism Conversations, an industry event.
• Communicate sustainability management and reporting requirements.
• Contribute content for STB’s annual sustainability report.
• Collaborate with consultants to enhance the sustainability report.
• Manage sustainability marketing and communications, including updates and materials.
• Track and monitor sustainability indicators for reporting.
• Support WOG sustainability meetings.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks aligned with department objectives.

[What the role is]

Be part of the Sustainability and Reporting team and support sustainable tourism initiatives.

[What you will be working on]

• Support Global Sustainable Tourism Council Destination (GSTC) Certification efforts for Singapore to affirm Singapore’s sustainability efforts.
• Proliferate and lias with internal and external stakeholders for the implementation of STB’s sustainability strategy.
• Manage the organisation of Sustainable Tourism Conversations, an industry event, bringing together key players in the tourism industry, from event planning to event execution.
• Communicate sustainability management and reporting requirement to ensure alignment with reporting standards and industry best practices.
• Be part of the sustainability reporting team which includes curation of contents for STB’s annual sustainability report.
• Work with appointed consultants to enhance STB sustainability report.
• Manage sustainability marketing and communication matters, including providing regular updates on sustainability developments and curation of sustainable tourism materials.
• Tracking and monitoring of sustainability related indicators for reporting purpose.
• Provide support for WOG sustainability meetings which STB is part of.
• Any other ad-hoc work aligned with department objectives.
• Work with appointed consultants to enhance STB sustainability report.
