Job summary

AXA Life and Health Reinsurance Solutions Pte Ltd invites applications for a six-month contract as Data Protection Officer (DPO). You will manage data protection compliance, implement policies, and oversee DPIAs to mitigate privacy risks across the organization in Singapore.

You will advise stakeholders, coordinate data breach responses, liaise with regulators, and deliver awareness programs to foster a robust data protection culture, maintaining records of processing activities.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in data privacy, compliance, or governance.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of PDPA (Singapore).
• Experience DPIAs and data protection frameworks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as designated DPO ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and internal policies.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new or existing processes.
• Advise stakeholders on data protection obligations and best practices.
• Oversee data breach management and incident remediation.
• Act as liaison with regulators on data protection matters.
• Design and deliver awareness and training programs.
• Maintain records of processing activities for audit readiness.
• Ensure data protection governance within organizational processes.
• Review vendor/third-party data processing agreements for compliance.
