Job summary

PwC is offering an internship with its Data Protection Office in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting privacy governance, incident handling, compliance monitoring, and awareness activities to safeguard PwC’s data and reputation.

Qualifications

• University students pursuing studies in law, data governance, data privacy, risk and compliance, business, or any other related field.
• Able to commit full time from Jan 2027 – June 2027.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis or automation tools is an advantage.
• Clear communicator who is resourceful, collaborative and comfortable working with stakeholders across different levels of the firm.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Possess a high level of resilience and positive work attitude.
• Willingness to learn and deliver timely and quality results to internal stakeholders.
• Good writing skills (English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the Data Protection Office, including maintaining records and tracking requests.
• Assist with preliminary assessment and triage of potential data incidents.
• Support investigations, documentation, reporting and follow-up remedial actions.
• Contribute to privacy compliance reviews and awareness activities.
• Use automation tools to monitor activities and improve efficiency.
