Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an entry-level IT professional for an 11-month assignment in the North of Singapore. The role focuses on application support and maintenance for enterprise systems using Java and/or .NET/C#.

You will troubleshoot issues, handle CRs, and participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support while gaining mentorship and structured training.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Java and/or .NET / C# programming.
• Familiarity with Git, SDLC, Agile methodologies and software testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support, maintenance and enhancements for enterprise systems developed using Java and/or .NET / C#.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues, production incidents and system errors.
• Support Change Requests (CRs), application enhancements and bug fixes.
• Participate in software testing, system integration, deployment and post-implementation support.
• Work with technical teams to investigate system issues and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in new application development and implementation projects when required.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established development and support procedures.
• Gain hands-on exposure to enterprise application systems through structured training and mentorship.
