Job summary

Samsonite Group APAC & Middle East in Singapore is seeking a diligent Finance Accountant to support month-end closing, post journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will assist in monthly reports and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness within a fast-paced team.

The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/SAP skills. You will contribute to compliance reporting and maintain finance process documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding reconciling items.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and analysis.
• Support finance-related activities as required.
• Support statutory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for finance processes and controls.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team and other ad hoc assignments as required.
