Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a Contamination Free Manufacturing (CFM) Associate Engineer to monitor AMC, airborne particles, humidity and temperature to protect wafer quality and production yield.

You will work closely with Facilities, Process, Equipment and Chemical Laboratory teams to investigate contamination events, respond to alarms, and drive continuous improvement in environmental monitoring, data analysis and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering is required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AMC, airborne particle and environmental sensors to detect deviations.
• Investigate contamination events and identify potential sources.
• Escalate alarms and support corrective actions.
• Analyze SPC charts and data to support decisions.
• Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs of CFM systems.
• Prepare incident reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Lead shift operations and provide technical guidance to technicians.
