Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a contamination control engineer to monitor and optimize cleanroom environments in fab and FOUP areas, conduct sampling and investigations, and support AI-enabled process improvements.

You will work with engineering teams to upgrade process capability, set parameters for semiconductor equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while performing swing shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental engineering or chemistry.
• Work in cleanroom environment; swing shift availability.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of analytical techniques (Ion chromatography, GC, particle analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Respond to ERT and Security alerts and manage gowning logistics during evacuations.
• Address contamination alarms and report to engineering and stakeholders.
• Sample Fab and FOUP environments for contamination; collaborate with chemical lab.
• Ensure real-time monitoring systems operate and record data.
• Develop process management projects and upgrade process capability.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Serve as contamination control resource across Fab, Probe, Facilities.
