Job description

We are looking for an experienced Traffic Controller to manage daily operations for our container-trucking fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate a fleet of 15 prime movers and 150 chassis
  • Plan, schedule, and deploy drivers for:
    • Container collection and return to yards
    • Import and export moves to and from PSA and other ports
  • Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to meet tight timelines
  • Handle operational issues such as missed slots, yard congestion, and last-minute changes
  • Coordinate closely with drivers, ports, depots, customers and internal teams
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing more than 10 trucks in a container-trucking environment
  • In-depth working knowledge of port and yard systems, including:
    • Portnet
    • MDT
    • All Depot Booking systems
    • Matchbox
  • Proficient in using transport or dispatch systems to assign and track jobs
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with PSA workflows, yard operations, and container turnaround processes
