Job summary

Yellow Ribbon is seeking a Solutions Design professional to develop innovative, scalable supply chain solutions that drive customer growth and operational excellence. You will work with Business Development, Operations, and Key Accounts to translate requirements into end-to-end logistics solutions with strong commercial outcomes.

The role involves designing end-to-end SC solutions, modelling scenarios, and advising on cost-benefit analyses to support growth and contract renewals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end supply chain, warehousing, transportation, and value-added service solutions for new business opportunities and contract renewals.
• Manage solution design deliverables across projects.
• Model scenarios of current and future operations and advise cost-benefit analyses and value models.
• Advise customers on innovative solutions that address needs and show clear solution fit.
• Support the development of a commercial framework with Business Development & Key Account Managers.
• Serve as SME in solution design and sector tools, e.g. Go Green-VAS.
• Provide solutions/analytical support for implementation/re-engineering of key projects.
• Establish optimal costing/commercialization for new/existing business.
• Engage with operations on implementation of assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Business Development and sector teams on solution design needs.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet highest levels of operational safety.
• Champion solution SME skills and develop team through research, training and project engagement.
• Outline solutions and commercial proposals for internal and customer presentations.
• Develop and maintain clear communication across the business.
• Seek innovation in facilities, fleet, technology or safety for solutions.
• Lead and coach the Solution Design team on skills and project needs.
• Lead/support the SD workstream in pursuing new business or renewals.

We are seeking a Solutions Design professional to develop innovative, scalable, and commercially viable supply chain solutions that drive customer growth and operational excellence. Working closely with Business Development, Operations, and Key Account teams, you will translate customer requirements into end-to-end logistics solutions while ensuring strong commercial outcomes and implementation success.

• Design and develop end-to-end supply chain, warehousing, transportation, and value-added service solutions for new business opportunities and contract renewals.
• Manage solution design deliverables across projects
• Model scenarios of current and future operational solutions & present and advise alternative cost benefit analysis & value models
• Advise the customer in new & innovative solutions which address the customer needs and demonstrate clear solution fit
• Support the development of a commercial framework for proposed solution with Business Development & Key Account Managers in order to achieve the Company's growth, contract retention and continuous improvement objectives.
• Subject matter expert in specific solutions design skills and sector-specific skills/ tools e.g. Go Green-VAS
• Provision of solutions/ analytical support for implementation/ re-engineering needs for key/ strategic projects as assigned
• To establish optimal costing/ commercialization for New/ Existing business
• Engage and work closely with operations team on implementation of assigned projects
• Engage and work closely with Business Development and sector team on proposing solution design needs
• Ensure our proposed solutions can provide the highest levels of operational safety
• Champion assigned practise/ solution subject matter expertise- build depths via research and application, team development & training, engagement on relevant projects
• Outline solutions and commercial proposals in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participate in customer presentations where required
• Develop and maintain good and effective communication across the business
• Actively seek to understand and apply innovation be it facility, fleet, technology or safety to solutions
• To lead and coach the assigned Solution Design (SD) team members (country/ Regional Office) on specific skills / project needs
• To lead / support the SD workstream in the pursuit of new business/ renewal of existing ones
