Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability and ESG advisory engagements, including materiality assessments and strategy development.
• Construct sustainability reports and disclosures aligned to GRI, ISSB, and TNFD.
• Advise clients on climate-related disclosure requirements and reporting readiness.
• Deliver GHG inventories and corporate/product carbon footprints per GHG Protocol/ISO14064.
• Develop decarbonisation roadmaps and SBTi target setting and validation support.
• Advise on carbon credits and carbon-market engagements including project scoping and MRV.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and client-facing deliverables.
• Identify follow-on opportunities and grow client relationships through delivery.
• Contribute to proposals, technical reports, fee estimates, and capability statements.
• Represent TAC in client meetings and industry events.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality for engagements.
• Serve as day-to-day contact ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
• Review works by junior consultants and associates.

Job Summary

The Carbon & Sustainability Consultant delivers technical advisory services, develops sustainability reports, builds decarbonisation roadmaps, sets science-based targets, and advises on carbon credits while driving business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability and ESG advisory engagements, including materiality assessments and strategy development.
• Construct sustainability reports (SR) and disclosures aligned to GRI, ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2), and TNFD.
• Advise clients on climate-related and sustainability-related disclosure requirements and reporting readiness.
• Deliver GHG inventories and corporate / product carbon footprints in line with the GHG Protocol and ISO14064.
• Develop decarbonisation roadmaps and net-zero targets, including science-based targets (SBTi) target-setting and validation support.
• Advise on carbon credits and carbon-market engagements including project scoping, baseline setting, MRV, and preparation for validation and verification.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and client-facing deliverables.
• Identify follow-on and new opportunities within existing accounts and grow client relationships through delivery.
• Contribute to proposals, technical report, fee estimates, and capability statements.
• Represent TAC in client meetings, selected industry events and technical forums.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality for assigned carbon and sustainability engagements.
• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
