PwC Singapore is seeking a Manager in Sustainability & Climate Change within Risk Services to help clients advance their ESG agendas. You will work across frameworks such as GRI, SASB, WEF and UNPRI, lead project teams, and collaborate with clients and engagement teams.

A strong background in sustainability and governance is required, with the ability to write policies and drive proposals. You will join a dynamic, globally connected PwC network, delivering high-quality assurance and advisory

Qualifications

5-8 years of relevant experience in Sustainability and Climate Change or related field.
Strong passion for sustainability and ESG issues.
Experience with ESG reporting, GHG calculation, materiality, sustainability strategy, supply chain, human rights impact assessment, climate risk management.

Responsibilities

Establish relationships with clients and act as trusted advisor on ESG matters.
Assist clients in adopting ESG frameworks and schemes (GRI, SASB, WEF, UNPRI).
Stay connected with global PwC network on ESG trends relevant to markets.
Accurately calculate corporate carbon footprints.
Lead and develop teams to deliver client engagements.
Assist in business development and proposals to engage clients.

Responsibilities

Your ability to establish relationships with clients and be seen as a trusted advisor on ESG & Sustainability matters in the market
Working closely with clients and engagement teams to assist them in adapting to a wide range of ESG frameworks and schemes including GRI; SASB; WEF; UNPRI; etc
Staying connected across the global PwC network on emerging ESG trends across the globe with relevance to our clients in each market
Your ability to accurately calculate corporate carbon footprints
Managing and developing teams to successfully deliver client engagements
Assisting in business development and pitching assignments to engage potential clients

About You

5- 8 years of relevant experience, preferably from a Sustainability and Climate Change background with relevant project experiences in driving ESG initiatives a plus
A strong passion for sustainability and ESG issues
Experience in some/most of the following:

Sustainability reporting
GHG calculation
ESG Materiality assessment
Sustainability Strategy setting
Sustainable supply chain
Human rights impact assessment
TCFD and climate risk management

Should have a strong familiarity with corporate management and governance structures
Ability to write corporate policies, SOPs, process documents
Highly evolved analytical skills
Data management and visualisation skills
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating on an engagement to a wide range of stakeholders from senior management to project managers.
Exposure to preparing and delivering proposals and client management;
A graduate degree in business, engineering, environmental science and/or equivalent
Knowledge of and experience with international sustainability and assurance guidelines and standards
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
