Job summary

KCL Consultants Pte Ltd & CS Tech Consultants & Engineering Pte Ltd seek a Resident Technical Officer to supervise residential construction sites in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs and safety standards, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate site records. The role requires strong teamwork and communication skills.

Start from December 2026 on a 36-month contract. Candidates must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering and a valid RTO certificate accredited by IES/ACES.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of residential buildings.
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES.
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and drawings to ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements and procedures are followed.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor work.
• Ensure builders execute work per consultant instructions and check drawings for discrepancies.
• Conduct quality inspections and QC of materials used for the project.
• Document site inspection records, safety records and approved/as-built drawings; update progress reports.
