Job summary

MAXBOND SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee site safety across construction projects in Singapore. You will conduct regular inspections, assess risks, and ensure compliance with ISO and OSHAS policies.

You will lead toolbox talks, enforce safety legislation, monitor the Safety Management System, and maintain HSE documentation, contributing to continuous safety improvements and zero-accident goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Building construction.
• Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course / BCSS.
• Certification in Work at Heights (WAH) Supervisor course.
• Occupational First Aid Course (OFA).
• Able to start work at short notice or immediately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring compliance with company ISO and OSHAS policies.
• Perform daily site inspections and initiate corrective actions, preparing detailed inspection reports for the Construction Manager to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with construction teams to address safety concerns and lead daily toolbox meetings to promote safety awareness.
• Enforce all applicable safety legislation and internal safety rules and regulations to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Implement and monitor the Safety Management System on construction sites to ensure adherence to safe work procedures by supervisors and workers.
• Maintain and complete comprehensive Project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) reports and documentation to support compliance and continuous improvement.
