Job summary

BEAMING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent on-site Construction Supervisor to oversee daily activities, coordinate skilled trades, and ensure work aligns with project plans. The role requires strong leadership, safety awareness, and the ability to read technical drawings.

You will manage on-site teams, monitor progress against schedules, and enforce quality standards while liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and coordinating daily construction activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong on-site leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
• Lead and manage skilled tradespeople, laborers, and subcontractors on site.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor work progress to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality workmanship and identify any issues.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related issues.
• Monitor the use of materials, tools, and equipment to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, work records, and site documentation.
• Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or accidents.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to improve performance and maintain high work standards.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning manpower requirements and scheduling construction activities.
• Resolve on-site conflicts and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Support project completion by ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
