Job summary

Hui Teng Decoration is seeking a safety coordinator to enforce safety measures on construction sites, inspect for hazards, and ensure proper PPE usage and tool handling.

You will act as a liaison between workers and management on safety issues, address concerns promptly, and introduce accident-prevention measures to protect personnel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workers follow construction site safety measures and regulations
• Inspect the site to identify hazards and develop policies to eliminate them
• Ensure workers wear required protective equipment and know how to use tools
• Record safety concerns and act on them promptly
• Act as a link between workers and management on safety and site organization
• Introduce measures to prevent accidents on site
• Receive and act on safety reports from workers

Job description

Make sure that workers within a construction site follow the safety measures/regulations

Inspects the worksite to determine if there is any form of hazards and also develop policies/procedures that will help to eliminate them from the work environment

Ensure workers on site are in proper protective equipment required for each project, and ensure that the involved workers fully understand how to use certain tools and equipment

Takes note of workers’ safety concerns and immediately acts on them

Serves as a link between workers and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the workplace

Introduces measures that will help prevent accidents within the workplace

Receive and acts on reports regarding safety concerns from workers within the construction site
