Job summary

Kingsforce Management Services Pte. Ltd. seeks a senior site professional to assist the Lead Resident Engineer in overseeing construction and commissioning of water treatment plant projects.

You will process contractor claims, coordinate between design teams and contractors, and ensure schedule integrity and cost controls. The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 15 years of construction experience, including 10 years on large water/wastewater contracts.

Qualifications

• Possess Engineering Degree or equivalent certificate.
• At least 15 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 10 years in large water/water treatment plant projects.
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Resident Engineer to oversee construction and commissioning, including processing claims.
• Coordinate design teams and contractors to ensure scheduling and cost controls align with contracts.
• Review and update Contractor schedules and cost status across contracts.
• Manage QA and safety requirements and supervise the site team.

About our client:Our client is a leading global engineering and project management consultancy embarking on large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects.

About the role:

• Assist the Lead Resident Engineer to oversee the construction and commissioning of the works, including processing claims from the Contractor such as progress payments, variations, and requests for extension of time.
• Oversee and coordinate the work between the Design Team and Contractors, for ensuring consistency in scheduling, cost controls, documents controls and implementation of quality assurance programmes, and ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
• Review and update of the Contractor’s schedules showing the status of all projects as well as cost status for all contracts.
• Managing the quality assurance and safety requirements, and also the Consultant’s site supervision team.

About you:

• Possess a relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent certificate.
• At least 15 years of construction experience, of which at least ten (10) years shall be in managing the construction of large used water/water treatment plant projects construction contracts of similar size and complexity.
• Good communication and supervisory skills.

• 5.5-day work week (site-based)
