Job summary

K & L Aluminium Engineering PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Draughtsman to prepare and revise construction drawings using AutoCAD and coordinate site activities to ensure project compliance with specifications, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires developing architectural, structural, and related construction drawings, reviewing drawings for discrepancies, and supporting project teams with submissions, progress tracking, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
• Relevant experience in a similar drafting role is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work after office hours and on weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Prepare and revise construction and architectural drawings using AutoCAD, coordinate site activities, and ensure project compliance with specifications, safety, and quality standards to support timely and smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise construction drawings, shop drawings, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD to meet project requirements
• Develop architectural, structural, and related construction drawings including layout plans, sections, elevations, and construction details
• Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Assist project teams with drawing submissions and revisions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Perform drafting and project coordination tasks as assigned to support project progress
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities to maintain workflow and safety
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and safety requirements
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to facilitate smooth project execution
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and site documentation for effective tracking
• Attend project meetings to resolve technical, operational, and site coordination issues promptly
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and company procedures throughout project execution
• Support project planning, resource allocation, and timely completion of assigned tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma from recognized tertiary establishment in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services
• Relevant experience in a similar role is advantageous
