Job summary

Xinda Construction in Singapore is seeking a Construction Drafter to produce and revise drawings using AutoCAD, focusing on architectural, structural and M&E components.

You will coordinate with project managers, site teams and consultants, update drawings on site changes, and prepare as-built drawings after completion. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.

Diploma or certificate required; experience in Singapore construction preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Building, Drafting or related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Able to read and understand architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Knowledge of Revit / BIM will be an advantage.
• Singapore construction industry experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with project and site teams.

Position: Construction Drafter

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise construction drawings, shop drawings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

• Prepare architectural, structural and other construction-related drawings based on project requirements.

• Prepare layout plans, sections, elevations and construction details.

• Review architectural, structural and M&E drawings and identify drawing discrepancies.

• Coordinate drawings with project managers, site supervisors, consultants and subcontractors.

• Update drawings according to site conditions, consultant comments and approved changes.

• Prepare as-built drawings upon completion of works.

• Assist the project team in drawing submissions and revisions.

• Maintain proper drawing records, drawing registers and document control.

• Conduct site visits and take site measurements when required.

• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications and requirements.

• Assist in quantity measurement and material calculation based on drawings when required.

• Perform other drafting and project coordination duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Building, Drafting or related discipline.

• Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry is preferred.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Able to read and understand architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

• Knowledge of construction methods and building details will be an advantage.
