CHINA CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION Branch Office Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Contract Manager to handle BOQ take-offs, cost estimation, and procurement for both pre- and post-contract activities in Singapore.

The role requires a minimum diploma or degree in Building/Quantity Surveying/Civil/Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience in Construction sector
• Experience with pre- and post-contract administration and tendering

Responsibilities

• Take-off quantities, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ, drawings and specifications for the calling of quotations)
• Source for sub-contractors and suppliers, quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post contract
• Pre and post tender/contract negotiation, administration, and monitoring
• Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Price and forecast the cost of different materials required for the project
• Procurement responsibilities including tender document preparation, calling for quotation for sub-contract works, evaluate, and compare costs before awarding the works for sub-contract package
• Follow up on invoice preparation, purchase order, work order, sub-contract agreement and letter of award to sub-contractors and/or suppliers
• Monitor and evaluate work progress and assess sub-contractor’s progress payment claims and variation order claims before certification
• To follow up on monthly progress claims in a timely manner
• Involved in respective site, client, and consultant meetings, Liaise closely with project sites for related claims
