GE Aviation, Engine Services - Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented manufacturing technician to perform grit blast, masking, and plasma/thermal spray operations on engine components.

You will follow OP specifications, run spray programs, and maintain accurate documentation and logs while ensuring clean, well-kept work areas. Experience with grit blasting, masking, spraying and CNC equipment is valued; reading operation sheets and SOPs in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O level and 3 years relevant experience.
• NITEC in Machining or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read manufacturing operation sheets and SOPs in English.

Job Description Summary: You will perform cleaning & masking of parts to be plasma-sprayed. You are required to handle different engine models and stages of parts, masking and coating type needs, operate manual and auto grit blast machines.

Role Overview

Perform grit blast, degrease and masking of components. Check and establish appropriate programs for spraying. Spray components in accordance with OP specifications. Ensure proper documentations are maintained. Maintain Log on maintenance and rectification of robot/equipment. Maintain good housekeeping in work area/robots/equipment. Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks.

The Ideal Candidate

Detail-oriented manufacturing technician with hands-on experience in grit blasting, masking, thermal/plasma spray operations, and CNC equipment, with the ability to follow OP/specification requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold strong housekeeping and equipment care standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or with 3 years of relevant experience
• Preferably NITEC in Machining or equivalent
• Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess basic technical know-how on the thermal spraying gun
• Able to operate different types of coating spray
• Able to operate grit blast machine, CNC machines, knowledge of CNC programming and plasma spray
