Job summary

A leading human resource consultancy in Singapore is looking for an Analyst to support compensation design initiatives. The role involves conducting extensive data analysis to develop effective compensation programs and preparing detailed HR reports. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, has 1-3 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits, and is proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. This position offers a 6-month extendable contract with a competitive salary and bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or technical diploma in Business, Finance, or HR-related field.
• 1 - 3 years' experience as an analyst, preferably in Compensation and Benefits.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Job description

Contract Details

• 6 Months extendable contract
• Mon – Fri (9.00am – 6.00pm)
• Buona Vista (Walking distance from MRT)
• Up to $3,500 + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Work with Global Head of Compensation and Benefits and Manager Compensation and Benefits on Compensation design plans
• Conduct data analysis and studies to support in developing effective compensation programs in accordance with the organization’s reward strategy
• Participate and work on salary surveys, peer group review, annual headcount budgeting, salary benchmarking, job analysis, job matching and job evaluation data
• Analyse global and local pay to assist in developing salary ranges by grade by country.
• Develop multiple models, statistical analysis of market data, charts, and graphs on spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for management review.
• Gather data, analyse, and prepare presentations for review and calibration.
• Prepare HR reports and presentations on turnover, vacancies, headcount, demographics, organisation structures, and budgets.
• Extract SAP reports for data analysis and review
• Support yearly performance review process
• Collaboratively work with IT on building HR business intelligence or other projects as assigned.
• Any ad-hoc duties or projects as required

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor degree or technical diploma in Business, Finance, economics, Mathematics, Human Resources, or an HR related discipline.
• Have proven track record with 1 - 3 years’ experience as an analyst preferably in C&B.
• Strong proficiency in MS office particularly excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience handling surveys with Hay Group, Mercer and other sources.
• Have a strong numerical background with developed skills necessary to create reports.
• Demonstrated past experience of developing and monitoring HR metrics and workforce information e.g. compensation and benefits; employee performance, budgeting, financial analysis, staff turnover and employee demographics.
