Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of working experience in a nursing home.
Caregiver certificate or nursing qualification preferred.
Able to communicate with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

Prepares residents for baths and assists with bathing.
Assists residents to toilets/bath rooms as needed.
Performs personal hygiene duties for residents.
Transfers residents to dining area and to bed.
Cleans and tidies residents after meals and changes bed linen regularly.
Checks and changes diapers when necessary (every 4 hours).
Helps in serving meals and feeding residents.
Attends to residents' call bells and needs, including night duties with supplies.
Delivers soiled linen to laundry and assists in housekeeping tasks.
Attends monthly training and clinical staff meetings to update skills.
