Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive, people-oriented professional to support community initiatives and build meaningful partnerships across religious and community groups in Singapore.

The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, programme coordination under the Racial and Religious Circles, and delivering community projects, dialogues, and Harmony Fund administration. This is a 2-year contract with bonuses up to 3 months, based in the Central area, with office hours Mon-Fri,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience working with community groups; NGO/VWO or government agency experience is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of mother tongue languages/dialects is a plus.
• Good data, financial, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage religious and community organisations to build partnerships and communication channels.
• Develop and implement community initiatives that support the needs of religious and community-based organisations.
• Build stakeholder partnerships with government agencies, grassroots organisations and private entities to promote social cohesion.
• Coordinate programmes and events under the Racial and Religious Circles, including dialogues, learning journeys and events.
• Evaluate and support engagement initiatives, including Harmony Fund administration, to improve effectiveness and impact of community engagement.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented professional with strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills to support community initiatives and build meaningful partnerships.

• ASAP; 2 year contract with bonuses (up to 3 months in 2 years)
• Subject to renewal
• Working Location: Central
• Mon - Fri, office hours *Subject to operational needs*
• Up to $4,300 per month

What to expect:

Who we are looking for:

• Singaporeans only.
• Possesses minimum a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience working with community groups; experience with NGOs, VWOs or government agencies is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with good spoken and written English; proficiency in mother tongue languages/dialects is an advantage.
• Strong data, financial and Microsoft Office skills.
• Positive, adaptable and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
• Passionate about building and strengthening community relationships and comfortable working with stakeholders and volunteers.
