Zusammenfassung

Ren Ci Hospital is seeking a dedicated healthcare support worker to assist residents with daily living activities and companionship.

You will perform personal care tasks, monitor health status, assist with medications and basic wound care, and work as part of a self-managed team to ensure residents' comfort and dignity.

Candidates should have healthcare support training, be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays, and be proficient with MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate/training in Healthcare support & ITE Home Care program.
• Experience in household management and/or eldercare preferred.
• Able to perform 2–3 rotating shifts, including weekends/public holidays.
• Team-oriented and computer literate (MS Office).

Aufgaben

• Provide companionship by listening to residents and ensuring comfort.
• Support daily living activities and create an environment that enhances quality of life.
• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, diaper changes and showering.
• Monitor health status and vital signs.
• Perform tube feeding (NGT) and basic wound care.
• Assist with medication administration and topical applications.
• Support therapy interventions and general duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide companionship by actively listening to the residents’ wishes and concerns, and ensuring that measures are taken to keep them comfortable
• Facilitate and support all aspects of the residents’ daily lives, taking into consideration individual preferences. Part of a self-managed team, he/she is responsible for creating an environment that enhances residents’ quality of life
• Provide basic care and services to residents in basic activities of daily living, including assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, diaper changing and showering
• Monitor health status and vital signs
• Perform tube feeding / Nasogastric tube (NGT) feeding for residents
• Perform basic wound care
• Assist to serve pre-packed medication and or apply prescribed topical medication
• Perform and monitor individualised therapy intervention
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Certificate/training in Healthcare support & ITE Home Care program
• Preferably possess experience in household management and/or eldercare
• Able to perform 2 or 3 rotating shifts hours and work on weekends/public holidays
• Able to work well in team environment
• Computer literate and proficient in MS office
