Job summary

NTUC Health Co-operative Limited is seeking a Compassionate Care Associate to join our integrated care team serving seniors, including those with dementia. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and help deliver personalised care plans to promote independence and well-being.

The role involves facilitating group activities, engaging residents in meaningful programs, maintaining cleanliness at centres, and assisting with transportation to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Possess a Certificate in Healthcare or a related course.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
• Be empathetic and form positive relationships with seniors and caregivers.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be proficient in Google Suite Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, toileting, diaper changing, and feeding.
• Monitor seniors' medical and health conditions.
• Facilitate small group activities and exercises catered to the seniors' interests.
• Engage seniors, including those with dementia, in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the centres.
• Escort and assist seniors during transportation to and from the care centre ensuring their safety and comfort.

You will need to:

• Monitor seniors' medical and health conditions
• Facilitate small group activities and exercises catered to the seniors' interests
• Engage seniors, including those with dementia, in meaningful and stimulating activities that promote mental and emotional well‑being
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the centres
• Escort and assist seniors during transportation to and from the care centre ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey

Qualification

You should:

• Possess a Certificate in Healthcare or a related course
• Have the ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment
