Siemens Energy’s Gas Services Asia Pacific is seeking a Communications Professional to shape and manage communications across a fast-growing, geographically diverse region, blending regional event management with corporate communications for internal engagement of 1,200+ employees and enhancing leadership visibility.

You will lead planning for four major annual conferences across Asia Pacific, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, develop internal channels, and craft external leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.

Gas Services Asia Pacific (GS AP) is looking for a Communications Professional to help shape and manage communications across a fast-growing, geographically diverse region. This role blends regional event management with corporate communications, supporting internal engagement for 1,200+ employees and helping build the external profile of senior leadership.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • (50%) Event Communications & Management — Lead planning and execution of communications for around four major annual conferences across Asia Pacific (Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Korea), including invitations, agendas, promotional content, and post-event summaries
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors across multiple countries to ensure a cohesive, professional experience for all event attendees.
  • (30%) Internal & Employee Communications — Develop and execute a consistent internal communications strategy for 1,200+ employees region-wide, covering channels such as townhalls, change announcements, and newsletters.
  • Administer and maintain the regional communications SharePoint site, keeping content current, engaging, and accessible.
  • (20%) External & Executive Communications — Support customer marketing activations and craft content that raises the profile of senior leaders across the Asia Pacific market, including executive LinkedIn presence and thought leadership.
  • Develop key messages and materials for external audiences, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and business objectives.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of experience in a corporate communications role, with practical knowledge across the function.
  • Proven experience managing communications for events, internal employee engagement, and digital platforms.
  • Strong grounding in corporate, employee, digital, and marketing communications, along with public relations.
  • Skilled in content creation — copywriting, storytelling, content editing, and social media content.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and critical thinking abilities.
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
