What will you do?
- Fault Management: Monitor network alarms, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with the Maintenance Agency (MA), provide updates to users, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure backup/restore of NMS data.
- Configuration Management: Maintain accurate physical and logical configuration records, manage terminal numbering plans, support network reconfiguration, and report unauthorised changes.
- Administration Management: Handle end‑user queries, communicate outages and maintenance activities, maintain documentation, manage reports, and track equipment movement and inventory.
- Performance Management: Collect and analyse network statistics, monitor reliability/availability/maintainability, track MA response performance, and recommend improvements to optimise network performance.
- Security Management: Safeguard physical and logical security of systems, monitor unauthorised access, manage password controls, support terminal security, and report or recommend actions on security breaches.
- Project Support: Support project planning, testing, implementation of new services, and deployment of new user terminals.
- Consultancy Services: Provide technical and operational advice, support business continuity planning, and conduct ad‑hoc studies on network capacity and capability.
- General Support Management: Support special operations, develop and validate network recovery procedures, assist with log retrieval, support major events, and manage reporting for missing terminals.
- User Equipment (UE) Management: Diagnose equipment faults, manage configuration and data removal, perform firmware/software restoration, remote wipe, and prepare repaired equipment for return to users.
- Application Management: Provide Level 1 application and backend support, including troubleshooting, reinstalls, checks on server/connectivity issues, and escalation to vendors for Level 2 support.
Qualifications

- Diploma in Computer Science or related IT/Engineering fields
- Diploma Graduate with less than two years of relevant working experience
