Job summary

National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore invites a 6-month full-time internship to explore hospital administration through video production, filming, editing and publishing across external and internal channels.

Job Description

The intern will support the team to develop and produce both long-form and short-form videos to build the bank of digital assets for

• External facing channels, e.g. YouTube and other social media channels (e.g. TikTok, Instagram)
• Internal facing channels, e.g. onsite TVs, internal events.

The intern may also support the project management of video production that has been outsourced to a vendor.

The intern will be involved in:

• Pre-production work that may include researching, interviewing, storyboarding, scriptwriting, coordination of shoot etc.
• Filming/Onset duties that may include filming with DSLR and mirrorless, gimbal (optional), soundman duties, equipment (camera, lights, microphone) set up and teardown, providing support and assistance to the crew to ensure that production goes smoothly etc.
• Post‑production work that may include coordination work between production team and various stakeholders, video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro …
• Publishing of video: To help publish videos on NUH social media channels (e.g. YouTube), checking on statistics when needed and helping with the categorising of videos within the channel.
• Any other assigned duties, where applicable.

Role requirements

• Experience with video production and editing
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in/with the following:
• - CapCut
• - Storyboarding
• using DSLR, mirrorless and
• - After Effects (optional)
• Good attention to detail and possess ability to do scheduling and production planning
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time while maintaining high attention to detail
• A team player who can work well under pressure and tight timelines
• Good written English and the ability to communicate effectively and creatively
