Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks a risk professional to support daily market risk activities for physical, derivatives and FX exposures in a trading setting. You will generate risk reports, analyze exposures, and compile daily price curves and market updates for internal use.

The role requires a Bachelor degree and 1–3 years in oil & gas, energy, or commodity trading, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with risk tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Economics, Business or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, energy, commodity trading or related industries.
• Experience in risk management, middle office or similar functions within a trading environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with commodity trade management systems, such as Entrade, is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of VBA, Power BI and Power Automate is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with different internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support daily market risk management activities covering physical and derivative commodity positions, as well as foreign exchange exposures.
• Generate daily risk reports and analyse risk exposures and profit and loss movements.
• Compile market prices and prepare daily price curves for uploading into the trading system.
• Conduct month-end and quarter-end inventory valuation, year-end back-testing and stress-testing activities.
• Monitor customer credit exposures and review positions against approved credit limits.
• Prepare daily credit position and risk reports for internal review.
• Monitor commodity market developments, including fundamentals, macroeconomics and price movements.
• Compile and present weekly market updates to internal stakeholders.
• Support other risk management, reporting and market analysis activities as assigned.
