Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) is Asia’s leading market infrastructure provider. The Commodities Product Management internship offers hands-on experience in derivatives across Iron ore, Coal, Freight, Rubber, Dairy, Oil, Petrochemicals and EV metals.

You’ll learn market structure, participate in product launches, and support analytics from Day 1. This SGX Internship Program emphasizes real-time work, data-driven insights, and exposure to marketing events.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in Chinese.
• MS Office proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint and VBA/Macros.
• Interest in marketing, client outreach and digital/social media knowledge.
• Willingness to learn programming languages and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards to monitor business performance such as volume, revenue, product yields, etc.
• Support, enhance and develop analytics on order book, volume driven liquidity and pricing models.
• Research and development of quantitative trading ideas and strategies for commodity derivatives products.
• Collect and analyse trade data for research reports, news articles and white papers.
• Assist with content, layout and design of marketing materials to drive trading activity.
• Organise industry events including workshops and Singapore Iron Ore Week.
• Conduct research on peer exchanges and clearing houses to understand product/service offerings.
