Job summary

ExxonMobil invites applications for an Internship - Trading Analyst (1H2027) in Singapore. You will work with the AP Trading Analytic Team, assist in analyzing market data, and support ad-hoc trading activities while gaining exposure to the oil market and commodity trading.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of study.
• Degree in Engineering, Computational Science, Data Analytics, Statistics/Mathematics, or Business/Accounting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret market data.
• Excellent attention to details for accurate analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and other trading functions.
• Proficient in Excel and programming, including Power BI and Python.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Data Management - Collect and maintain accurate and up-to-date trading data for analysis and reporting.
• Trading Reports - Prepare weekly reports on refinery outages, country inventory and other trading data for the team.
• Research and Reporting - Conduct ad-hoc analyses and prepare reports on market trends and factors to aid decision making.
