Job summary

Octavius Finance in Singapore invites an Experienced Commodities Portfolio Manager to lead a broad discretionary mandate across energy, metals and agriculture. Based in Singapore, you will translate macro views into actionable positions and take direct P&L responsibility.

You will own portfolio construction, hedging, risk management and performance attribution, while collaborating with rates, currencies and macro teams to generate compelling investment ideas and manage drawdowns.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Commodities Portfolio Manager or senior trader with direct responsibility for risk and P&L.
• Experience investing across multiple commodity sectors.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic drivers and commodity fundamentals.
• Practical experience with commodity futures, options and portfolio construction.
• Familiarity with commodity indices and the factors influencing their performance.
• A disciplined investment process and the ability to clearly communicate investment rationale.
