Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Commissioning Mechanical Supervisor to lead and coordinate day-to-day site activities within the Mechanical discipline. The role requires ensuring safe, efficient construction and commissioning work aligned with project quality standards, HSSE requirements, and the approved schedule.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, and proven experience in supervising mechanical construction and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience as Construction Supervisor, Commissioning Supervisor or similar role with knowledge of construction and commissioning practices.
• Ability to read and work with engineering drawings, construction plans, specs and technical docs.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Static Equipment.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Rotating Equipment.
• Experience in Inspection, Testing, Commissioning & Performance Monitoring.
• Experience in third-party and contractor management.
• Understanding of Construction, Commissioning & Quality Management strategies.
• Leadership in HSSE, quality, regulatory compliance and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day site activities for the Mechanical discipline.
• Oversee operations including workforce coordination, material management, equipment use, and ensure teams work with latest drawings and specs.
• Promote HSSE policy adherence and industry best practices across all site activities.
• Liaise with teams, management and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and interface matters.

Job description

The Commissioning Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating day-to-day site activities related to the Mechanical discipline. The role ensures construction and commissioning work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project quality standards, HSSE requirements, and the approved project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Mechanical construction and commissioning activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, technical specifications, project schedules, and applicable HSSE and quality requirements.
• Oversee daily site operations within the Mechanical discipline, including workforce coordination, material management, equipment utilization, and verification that teams are working with the latest approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Promote and enforce compliance with HSSE policies, procedures, and industry best practices across all site activities.
• Liaise with construction and commissioning teams, project management, and other key stakeholders to address technical issues, site challenges, and interface matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in a Construction Supervisor, Commissioning Supervisor, or similar capacity, with a solid understanding of construction and commissioning practices within the relevant discipline.
