Job summary

SBM Offshore in Singapore seeks a Construction Supervisor to oversee the commissioning and construction activities at site, ensuring compliance with HSSE, quality, and project schedule. You will manage workforce, material handling, and equipment usage while coordinating with project teams for issue resolution.

The role requires reading blueprints and technical documents, strong discipline in safety, and the ability to implement changes and deliver safe handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction & commissioning activities are carried out at site according to approved plans, specs and schedule.
• Supervise daily operations, workforce management, material handling, equipment usage at site.
• Enforce HSSE protocols and company standards in all activities.
• Coordinate between construction & commissioning teams, project management and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance to resolve challenges for seamless transitions and handovers.
• Implement changes to construction/commissioning plans, assessing impacts on the project.
• Prepare and submit reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
