Job summary

Rotary Engineering Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Commissioning Team Lead in Singapore to establish and lead the Commissioning Team for projects. You will select subcontractors, define project PI, and drive data-driven adjustments to ensure on-time completion.

You will manage schedules, budget, and progress data (3S, 5M), provide updates, and deliver technical solutions to clients while coordinating with discipline leads to resolve issues and ensure safe, efficient plant commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the Commissioning Team and selects/engages a qualified Commissioning Subcontractor or Team for Project Commissioning Works.
• Sets commissioning project PI prior to work, collects actual data to analyze and adjusts work to improve PI.
• Manages the commissioning schedule including cost, progress and productivity data (3S, 5M) and ensures completion per plan.
• Provides progress updates and proactively highlights issues impeding progress.
• Gives technical advice and solutions to the Client, building confidence and dependability.
• Monitors the project budget and ensures expenses stay within budget.
• Coordinates with Client’s team or Discipline Leads to address technical, engineering or commercial issues in the plant.
• Ensures Mechanical and E&I Team Leads set the DWI for Supervisors and checks daily reporting of DWI before close of day’s work activity.
• Identifies and resolves operational problems to minimize delays.

• Sets the commissioning project PI prior to starting of work for major activities, collecting the actual data to analysis and adjust the work to achieve more effective project set PIs.
• Manages the commissioning schedule including the analysis of costs, progress and other productivity data (3S,5M) and completion of all activities according to plan.
• Provides progress updates and proactively highlight matters impeding progress.
• Provides technical advice and solutions to the Client, giving them confidence and a sense of dependability.
• Supervises and tracks project budget and ensures expenses are within budget.
• Coordinates with Client’s team (or Discipline Leads) to address any technical, engineering or commercial issues in the plant.
• Ensure Mechanical and E&I Team Leads set the DWI for the individual Supervisors and check that the DWI has been reported daily prior to closing of the day’s work activity
• Identifies and resolves operational problems and minimize delays.
