Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Commissioning Engineer to join our precision automation and semiconductor equipment team.

You will perform commissioning, testing, and verification of prototypes, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-hardware aspects to ensure optimal performance. You will collaborate with design engineers on tests and optimisations, develop SOPs and reports, and support production trials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronics or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with technical machinery or engineering equipment.
• Reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, testing and functional verification of R&D prototypes.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical and software-hardware troubleshooting.
• Identify equipment defects and recommend performance improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers on prototype testing and optimisation.

Join an innovative R&D engineering team and work with advanced precision automation equipment! We are seeking a hands-on Commissioning Engineer with a strong technical background and practical machinery troubleshooting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform commissioning, testing and functional verification of R&D prototypes.

• Conduct mechanical, electrical and software-hardware troubleshooting.

• Identify equipment defects and recommend performance improvements.

• Collaborate with design engineers on prototype testing and optimisation.

• Develop commissioning SOPs, test procedures and technical reports.

• Support new product trial production and commissioning process improvements.

• Work closely with the Penang R&D Centre and provide occasional virtual technical support to the Singapore team.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronics or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment assembly, commissioning or precision automation.

• Hands-on experience working with technical machinery or engineering equipment is essential.

• Experience in semiconductor or optical equipment commissioning is advantageous.

• Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and equipment troubleshooting.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical and technical documentation skills.

• Able to understand English technical documents and equipment manuals.
