Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Commissioning Engineer to join our R&D team in Singapore.

You will perform commissioning, testing and verification of prototypes, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software-hardware systems, and collaborate with design engineers to optimise performance. This role offers exposure to precision automation and semiconductor technologies, with close ties to our Penang R&D Centre.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Optoelectronics.
Minimum 3 years in equipment assembly, commissioning or precision automation.
Hands-on experience with technical machinery is essential.
Experience in semiconductor or optical equipment commissioning is advantageous.
Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform commissioning, testing and functional verification of R&D prototypes.
Conduct mechanical, electrical and software-hardware troubleshooting.
Identify equipment defects and recommend performance improvements.
Collaborate with design engineers on prototype testing and optimisation.
Develop commissioning SOPs, test procedures and technical reports.
Support new product trial production and commissioning process improvements.
Work with Penang R&D Centre and provide occasional virtual technical support to the Singapore team.
