Job summary

HRNET Ventures Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on engineer to lead commissioning and verification of R&D prototypes, covering mechanical, electrical, and software-hardware integration.

You will work closely with design engineers to validate designs, identify issues, and develop commissioning SOPs, test specifications and technical reports. This role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and willingness to travel for training in China if needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Optoelectronics or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in assembly and commissioning of precision automation equipment.
• Experience in optical or semiconductor equipment commissioning is an advantage.
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Willing to travel to China for training during initial employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Commission and verify R&D prototypes across mechanical, electrical and software-hardware integration.
• Debug and optimise equipment performance.
• Validate designs with design engineers and identify issues.
• Develop commissioning SOPs, test specifications, and technical reports.
• Document commissioning findings and track issues to resolution.
• Support trial production and transfer commissioning processes to the Malaysia manufacturing team.
• Collaborate with test engineers on equipment performance testing and reliability verification.

• Conduct equipment debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Work closely with design engineers to validate designs, identify technical issues and recommend improvements.
• Develop commissioning SOPs, test specifications and technical reports.
• Document commissioning findings, track issues and ensure proper resolution.
• Support new product trial production and transfer commissioning processes to the Malaysia manufacturing team.
• Collaborate with test engineers on equipment performance testing and reliability verification.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Optoelectronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in assembly and commissioning of precision automation equipment.
• Experience in optical or semiconductor equipment commissioning is an advantage.
• Familiar with mechanical assembly processes and electrical wiring standards.
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Possess basic software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented, hands-on and systematic in technical documentation.
• Willing to travel to China for training during the initial employment period, if required.
