Job summary

INITIA GROUP is seeking dedicated Commis / Kitchen Assistants to join our busy kitchen team across Sentosa and Orchard outlets. You'll support food preparation, maintain hygiene, and assist cooks to ensure smooth service.

Requirements include at least 1 year in a kitchen or related role and a hygiene course certification. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks during peak hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food-related role
• Hygiene course certification or equivalent
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Versatile and adaptable to changing tasks
• Experience with cold dish preparation or ingredient handling is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients
• Ensure food items are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain food safety standards
• Safely operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills
• Keep food preparation areas clean and ensure all utensils and equipment are sanitized
• Help handle food orders and support special service requests during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
