Job summary

HP Inc. seeks a College Intern in Data Science in Singapore to help digitalize operations, track and visualize manufacturing and outbound quality. You will design, build and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines, develop data models, ensure data quality and security, and generate actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IS/IDEng background, strong Python/Java and SQL skills, and the ability to work on a 5–6 month full-time internship starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Industrial Engineering.
• Commit to a 5–6 month full-time internship starting January 2027.
• Strong programming knowledge in Python or Java and expertise with SQL databases.

Description -

What a College Intern - Data Science does at HP:

• Work with an enterprising team of engineers to digitally accelerate operations and provide solutions to track, analyze and visualize the manufacturing operations and outbound quality of our products.
• Design, build and maintain data infrastructure, pipelines and architecture to support data-driven initiatives.
• Develop data models, create robust processes and ensure data quality and security.
• Ability to work with AWS tools, such as S3, SageMaker, Lambda, Glue and Redshift.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation for systems, processes, codebases and workflows.
• Generate actionable insights through the analysis of data and understanding of operational processes.
• Develop methodologies for optimizing our business processes through data visualization, real-time monitoring, predictive analytics etc.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Industrial Engineering.
• Able to commit for a 5-6 months full-time internship, starting in January 2027.
• Strong programming knowledge in languages such as Python or Java and expertise with SQL databases.
