Job summary

Lyza Education seeks a full-time Coding Educator to design and deliver technology lessons for students aged 10 to 17, fostering foundational coding skills and creating a positive, productive learning environment.

The role involves designing engaging lessons, refining materials to meet curriculum goals, and maintaining a safe, supportive classroom. Hybrid work combines in-person and remote teaching, with responsibilities extending to parent communication and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline; computer science, engineering, mathematics, or science preferred
• Strong communication skills and passion for teaching children
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in group or individual settings is an advantage
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript (ReactJS), Java, and/or C/C++ is a plus
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn; training provided for candidates without direct experience
