Job summary

ZENITH INFOTECH (S) PTE LTD. is seeking an experienced AS400 COBOL developer to design, develop and configure COBOL modules and interfaces within an AS400 environment.

You will work in a team to deliver high-quality software on time, explore new solutions to meet user needs, and adhere to standard design methodologies while staying current with industry trends. Excellent communication with clients and diverse teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 5–8 years of AS400 COBOL development experience.
• Banking domain experience, payments preferred.
• Proficient with AS400, COBOL, SQL and DB2.
• Familiar with JIRA and ALDON.
• Experience across full software delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work with clients to deliver services.

• Design, develop and configure AS400 COBOL software modules, interfaces and components.
• Work in a team environment, delivering quality software that meets requirements within agreed timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology.
• 5 – 8 years of AS400 COBOL development experience.
• Experience in the banking domain, especially in payments.
• Working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL and DB2 database.
• Awareness of JIRA and ALDON.
• Involved in the complete software delivery lifecycle, and in maintaining AS400 applications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at different levels and with a diverse population.
• Experience working closely with clients to provide required services.
