KRIS INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced AS400 COBOL developer to design, implement and maintain mainframe-based software solutions for the banking and payments sector. The role requires collaboration within a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality functionality.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of AS400 COBOL experience, a degree in CS/IT, and proficiency in SQL/DB2. Strong communication across organizational levels is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology is required.
5–8 years of AS400 COBOL development experience.
Experience in banking domain, especially payments.
Working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL and DB2 database.
Awareness of JIRA and ALDON in the software delivery lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and configure AS400 COBOL software modules, interfaces and components.
Collaborate in a team to deliver quality software within timelines.
Explore new business solutions to enhance functionality.
Adopt standards and methodologies of application design and functionality.
Proactively enhance skills to stay current with trends.
Be a self-starter and raise issues when needed.
