Job summary

ADVINES HR SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. invites applications for an experienced CNC Programmer to develop and verify programs for complex precision components.

You will programme 3/4/5-axis machines, interpret drawings, select tooling and optimize machining sequences in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, hands-on setup and inspection, and the ability to reduce cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on CNC programming and machining experience.
• Demonstrated experience programming actual machine types and controllers.
• Advanced proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, machining processes, cutting tools and engineering materials.
• Able to programme from engineering drawings without relying on pre-existing programmes.
• Able to perform setup, prove-out, troubleshooting and dimensional inspection independently.
• Experience machining materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Inconel or aluminium.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring equipment including micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges and CMM systems.
• Maintain accurate programme revisions, setup sheets, tooling lists and inspection records.
• Support production during stated schedule at the workplace.
• Work hands-on in a manufacturing environment involving prolonged standing, machinery noise and handling of materials.

• Programme [3/4/5]-axis CNC milling and turning machines using [Mastercam/Fusion 360/Siemens NX/other actual software].

• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications and customer requirements.

• Select tooling, cutting parameters, workholding methods and machining sequences.

• Perform machine setup, prove-out, first-piece inspection and production troubleshooting.

• Achieve dimensional tolerances of up to [actual tolerance, e.g. ±0.005 mm] and specified surface finishes.

• Reduce cycle times, tool wear, scrap and machine downtime.

• Use measuring equipment including micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges and CMM systems.

• Maintain accurate programme revisions, setup sheets, tooling lists and inspection records.

• Support production during [actual rotating shifts, weekends or overtime requirements].

• Work hands-on in a manufacturing environment involving prolonged standing, machinery noise and handling of materials up to [actual weight].

Essential Requirements

• Experience machining [actual materials, such as stainless steel, titanium, Inconel or aluminium].

• Willing and able to work the stated schedule at the stated workplace.

• Applicants may be required to complete a practical programming or drawing-interpretation assessment relevant to the role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with aerospace, semiconductor or medical components].

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 or other applicable quality systems.

• Experience improving cycle time and supporting root-cause investigations.
